Layout of your puppies life for the first 6 months.

Feeding:
It is extremely important to feed your new puppy 3-4 meals a day, everyday, at the same time. Lack in properly feeding your puppy can result in catastrophic outcomes.

Vaccination:
Your puppy will receive their first sets of vaccines and deworming medications. It will be mandatory when you bring your puppy home to have a vet scheduled appointment to follow the rest of their vaccines. Your puppy will need 2-3 more booster shots, of which will need to be given every 3 weeks apart. You will need to show proof of a vet appointment for your puppy at 3 weeks once the puppy gets home. Puppies that are older than 8 weeks that are still in our care will remain up to date on their vaccines until they find their forever home. No matter the age you bring your puppy home, you will receive your puppy's records.

Microchip:
Your puppy will be sent home with you already microchipped. The microchip is very small and sits right between the puppy's shoulder blade right under their skin. The purpose of microchipping your puppy is to reunite you with your puppy if they were to be lost/stolen. The microchip will be checked at every vet appointment, so it is very important to register your information into your puppy's microchip. Be sure to remember updating the information if you are to move or relocate. I can help answer any questions you may have while registering your info into the microchip.

Grooming:
Portidoodles are a non-shedding dog. It is still important to groom your puppy once every 3 months with a trim and nail filing or trimming. I am offering 3-4 grooming sessions in the puppy's first year of life as part of your package. You will need to also help your dogs teeth by brushing them or giving them vet approved dental treats.

Socializing:
Your puppy is socialized, desensitized and loved on daily. You will need to continue to socialize your puppy to help them grow their love and acceptance of people.
